    How the score works

The score adds up four things that decide whether shoppers click and buy. The main image counts most, because it’s the one they see in search results.

    45Main image

White background, product fill, size, square shape and file format.

    15Number of images

Seven or more images, so every common question gets answered.

    20Coverage

Benefits, lifestyle, size, details and what’s in the box or a comparison.

    20Quality

Zoom-ready sizes, a consistent shape, no repeats, and readable, accurate, on-brand images.

    Questions

Is this an official Amazon tool?

No. It's a free grader built by ChessCraft Studio, based on Amazon's published image guidelines and what we see working on real listings. Always confirm the current rules in your Seller Central account, as they can differ by category.

    Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The images are checked inside your browser and never leave your device. Nothing is stored or sent to us unless you choose to request a free concept.

What does the main image check look for?

A pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255) at the edges, how much of the frame the product fills (around 85% is the common guideline), at least 1000 pixels on the longest side for zoom, a square shape, and an accepted file format.

How many images should an Amazon listing have?

Use every slot you have. In most categories that is a main image plus up to eight more, and each one should answer a different question a shopper has before buying.

Can you fix my images for me?

Yes. Send your listing after you check it and we'll redesign one image for free so you can see the difference before deciding anything.
